Meet our team
Jumbari’s General Manager, Lisa has over 24 years of experience working in the travel industry. She has personally experienced the challenges involved in planning a successful family safari and strives to simplify the process for everyone who wants to experience the magic of Africa with their family. Lisa has extensive African travel experience and has personally visited Kenya, Mozambique, Botswana, Zanzibar, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius and Namibia as well as many safari destinations in South Africa.
Kayleigh grew up in the small coastal town of East London, on South Africa’s East Coast. After her career as a professional musician for the South African Police Service, she moved to the City of Cape Town and embarked on a new career in travel. She has a deep sense of adventure and a constant desire to explore and try new experiences. She is passionate about conserving Africa’s unique wildlife and natural heritage for future generations. Jumbari is the perfect platform to share her love for responsible travel, making a difference to conservation and local communities, whilst still planning memorable vacation experiences for the entire family.
Our sales consultant Zeena works in the sales and customer experience department and has been in the tourism industry for 7 years. Zeena’s passion lies in showing people what Africa has to offer, so you can rest assured that your African family adventure will be filled with lasting memories. Zeena thrives on a challenge and would love to visit Uganda and trek to see the gorillas.
Rowan works in Jumbari’s product team and has traveled extensively throughout his career. From the Netherlands to Namibia, Rowan’s travel experience has inspired him to create travel moments for others.
With over 10 years of experience in the tourism industry, Roshan is the brain behind finding the perfect family hotels, lodges and camps for your trip to Africa. She is constantly on the lookout for new, exciting activities to offer clients which cater to all ages. Roshan loves what she does and enjoys learning about different places, what exceptional experiences they offer and how they can accommodate families on safari. One day she would love to visit Tanzania and Zanzibar as part of her bucket list places to see.
Lindsay gained her traveling chops from spending 4 years living in and exploring South East Asia. From motorbiking her way through Vietnam, scuba-diving with whale sharks in Thailand, sipping on coconuts in the Philippines and exploring ancient temples in Cambodia, Lindsay’s got a case of the travel bug and looks forward to ticking African adventures next off her bucket list.

Nico, our experienced finance manager, has been working in the travel industry since November of 2013. Why travel? He loves the vibrancy of it all and how interactive the tourism industry is. Born and bred in Cape Town, Nico loves exploring our home country by motorbike and can often be spotted exploring the backroads of South Africa on the weekends.
