In addition to classic safari experiences that occur during the early morning and late afternoons, this unique family safari will give your family the opportunity to discover Africa’s nocturnal animals after dark. Discover the diverse and vibrant city of Cape Town with your little ones and continue your family vacation in Zimbabwe while enjoying game drives in Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve and Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Included in your itinerary is a sunset river cruise on the Zambezi River, Mokoro safaris and fishing excursions on the waterways of the Okavango Delta.
Radisson Red Hotel accommodates families in their Studio Suites which features a bunk bed for the little ones.
Ursula’s Homestead accommodates families in their twin chalets which is kitted with a sleeper couch.

Day 1 - 4
Radisson Red Hotel, Cape Town
Your African family safari starts on arrival at Cape Town International Airport. A Jumbari representative will await your arrival and transfer your family to the Radisson Red Hotel located in the heart of Cape Town. The family-friendly hotel is located within walking distance to the famous V&A Waterfront which is an entertainment hub for children and adults alike. Your 4 days in Cape Town will include a Cape Town City Tour which includes visits to the Planetarium and the Two Ocean’s Aquarium – bound to be a highlight for the little ones! For your last evening in Cape Town, your family will be treated to sunset drinks on Signal Hill, a popular viewing point with spectacular views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 4 - 7
Ursula’s Homestead, Victoria Falls
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight to Livingstone Airport in Zambia. On arrival, you will be welcomed by your dedicated driver who will transfer you across the border to reach the town of Victoria Falls. Here, you will check into Ursula’s Homestead which will be your family’s home for the next three nights. Experience your first African night safari on a game drive in Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve, followed by an experiential boma dinner. The 2,500-hectare Big Five reserve borders the Zambezi National Park and is located only 25 minutes from Victoria Falls – an ideal location for your family safari. The next two days will include a guided tour of the Victoria Falls and an evening sunset cruise on the Zambezi river where your kids will have a chance to spot hippos and sly crocodiles.
Day 7 - 9
Mma Dinare, Okavango Delta
After breakfast, prepare for your road transfer to Kasane located in Botswana. From here, your family will board a charter flight to the Okavango Delta where a lodge representative will welcome you and transfer you to Mma Dinare, your home for the next three nights. The tented camp is set on a private concession adjacent to the game-rich Moremi Game Reserve. The highlight of your stay will be your African night safari through the Okavango Delta, fishing excursions, walking safaris and mokoro safaris. The night game drive will give your little ones the opportunity to learn more about the nocturnal animals found in Botswana which are sometimes overlooked on an African safari experience.

Today marks the end of your African family safari in Southern Africa. After breakfast, your dedicated safari guide will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight to Kasane Airport. Here, your family will connect to your international flight home.
