Rhino Post Safari Lodge, Kruger National Park

Your Kruger family safari starts on arrival at Skukuza Airport, after your short flight from Johannesburg International Airport. Your family will be welcomed by a Jumbari Family Safaris representative who will accompany you to Rhino Post Safari Lodge. Located in the Kruger National Park, Rhino Post Safari Lodge is a mere 45-minute road transfer away and will serve as your home base for the next 2 nights.

This eco-conscious family lodge was named after a resident rhino who was famous for using a tree stump on the property to scratch his back. Today, the tree stump appears polished from multiple visits by the rhino. The lodge consists of only 8 suites making it the ideal place to spend quality time with your family.

During your stay you will enjoy 2 daily game drives which typically depart at 06h15 in the morning and 16h00 in the afternoon. Game drives will be your opportunity to learn more about the environment, wildlife, birds, insects and reptiles of the Kruger National Park from your expert guides. Savour the moments as your little ones spot their first lion or elephant on safari and don’t forget to capture it on camera! Spend your evenings around the dinner table with your family and share stories around the fire while keeping an eye out for shooting stars!
