This 8-day Zimbabwe family safari starts in Bulawayo, in southwest Zimbabwe, and ends at one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls. Your family will travel to Matoba National Park and Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest natural reserve. In addition to game drives, your family will have the unique opportunity to partake in guided walking safaris and rhino trekking in both parks. Famous for its large granite boulders dating back 2 billion years, Matoba National Park is home to both black and white rhinoceros as well as large concentrations of wild dog, which you will encounter on foot. Stay at the family-friendly Amalinda Lodge located on the edge of the park and enjoy daily game drives, bicycle tours and community visits. Next up, you will spend 3 nights in Hwange National Park, the perfect safari for families traveling to Zimbabwe. The park offers excellent game viewing opportunities and close-up encounters with the Presidential Elephant Herd – a herd of over 500 wild African elephants consisting of 17 elephant families. The Lodge is located in a malaria-free area, ensuring a risk-free Zimbabwe family safari. Private vehicles are available for private family game drives. Families are accommodated in a large family room fitted with 2 double-beds. If required, there is ample space for an additional single bed for larger families.
Ivory Lodge accommodates families in their family room as well as 2 suites that can be converted to triples for families with children under 12 years. Private vehicles are available for family game drives and
babysitting services are offered at Ivory Lodge.
